Picture of my Dad and I. My Dad was CEO of the Largest Purchasing Cooperative in the World of the Education Industry. He made it possible for a higher level of Education, because of the better pricing he was able to make possible and put on the table for school's to purchase equipment and essentially anything that a school could purchase (imagine an empty school - from there my Dad's company helped them purchase everything they filled it with that cost money). I was raised with Education always being very important in my family.

Picture of me and the Leader of Alumni Relations of the university I went to, UConn. A few years after I graduated, he actually called me back and requested that I do a lecture to the current Finance Society students at UConn. I embraced the opportunity and did a great lecture to them about Finance and Leadership. One student actually even emailed me after the lecture and wrote that he thought my lecture was absolutely "enlightening". It was an excellent group and I enjoyed giving the speech a lot.

Mr. Shenkman, CEO of Shenkman Capital Asset Management, actually donated a 75,000 square foot athletic training center to the university that I got my undergraduate degree. It was great working out at the Shenkman Athletic Center at UConn. Everyone liked it a lot. Great to see him and thank him for that gift.
